Why did the schoolmaster dismiss Kit and send the children home? How do you feel about Mr. Kimberly's action?
Today our culture is much different than that during the 'Colonial Period.' I am so proud to work in a school where students can interact and play as they learn. This is very unlike what Kit was experiencing because she was not allowed to teach the children in a way that was considered 'play' or the 'devil's work.' At the time, I guess Mr. Kimberly took the most appropriate action that he though would be accepted by the colonists.

i would feel hurt by Mr. Kimberly's actions because it would make me feel bad.
i think the school master sent Kit home because Kit was not being very good.
she got dissmissed because she acted out.

i think kit was playing and not teaching like she was sopose too.thats why i think the school master sent her home.
I think that she was not following the rules and acting out other than the other students.
I think she sent them home because Kit was not being good the way she looked at it in her own way and Kit might not have thought it was so bad.
I wouldn't feel good about Mr. Kimberly's actions.
I think Mr Kimberly sent the children home from school because Kit was acting good in the way the colonist would have accepted but she didn't think it was to bad in her own way.
He dismissed her because of the way she was teaching. I do not like the way he did Kit. He made me feel sad.

The schoolmaster dismissed Kit and the children because they were playing even though Kit thought they weren't. I feel mad about Mr.Kimberly's action because even though they were playing they were still learning something.
Kit was dismissed because she was not teaching but playing with them.
i think that Kit wasnt really truly teaching.
she was told to leave because she was acting out. I would feel imbarassed and upset if a teacher told me to leave their classroom.
Kit was not doing the things she was supose to do. I would feel upset by what Mr. Kimberly did.
The school master dissmissed the school class because kit was acting out parts of the bible the part when noah got a sign from god saying that the earth would flood. If i were kit i would want to scream and throw my shoes at him!!!!
