In Chapter 12, Kit offered to help Nat 'thatch' the roof. How has she changed since the beginning of the book?
Kit has really proven herself to be less selfish. When first arriving in America, she seemed quite spoiled. I believe she may even be surprised be how much she cares for and wants to help others now!

she has changed by being more brave and standing up for herself more.
She has changed more because if Rachel can suspect where she is going, then that is one thing. But also she has become smarter. If she doesn't ever stand up for herself, what will she ever make in life?
I think she became more thooughtful and helpful since the beginning of the book when she was spoiled.
I think Kit has changed because she has adjusted to the rules and the townspeople.
she has changed because she has become more selfless towards others.
She changed because she barely even left her uncle's house.She also didn't talk very much anyway.
